The nearest district hospital from the area is spilling over to capacity. The nearest maternal health clinic is approximately 32 km. The poor roads and little mobile network connectivity make it almost impossible for the people of the area to reach help when it is needed most.

Every year, KenyaRelief.org takes 100s of volunteers to southwestern Kenya to serve the communities surrounding the KenyaRelief.org campus.
Our medical/surgical teams offer care and perform surgeries, at low or no cost, that are often life-saving for the impoverished people living in these communities. People, who might never have the opportunity to even meet with a doctor – let alone have surgery.
We have a place for everyone – educators, skilled trades, computer technicians, athletic trainers, security specialists, and more.
