Ambulance

We are fundraising for an ambulance because an adequately staffed and equipped ambulance saves lives, particularly in rural areas. KenyaRelief has the opportunity to import and equip an ambulance in Migori, and they need our help.

 

People need care in their communities! An ambulance is that critical link between rural communities and tertiary care. An ambulance will help transport critically ill patients to nearby hospitals, and it will help KenyaRelief obtain accreditation for a new maternal/child health unit being constructed next year. Local nurses and medical personnel can be trained in emergency response and critical care transport using the ambulance. This ambulance will be an enormous blessing to the local community.

 

Together, we can make this happen. This lift is too big for one of us alone, but collectively we can move mountains.

 

Every donation counts! Funds will go directly to KenyaRelief, and any funds in excess of the cost of the ambulance will be used for training and supplies.
